Cell Phone & Mobile Device Policy

Cell phones, earbuds, and other personal mobile devices are NOT allowed in the classrooms and hallways from the time students enter the building until the bell rings in the afternoon to dismiss students.   Cell phones are only permitted during lunch. 

1st Offense: Student's phone will be taken and may be picked up by a parent after 3pm.

2nd Offense: After School Detention - The student's phone will be taken and may be picked up by a parent after 3pm. 

3rd Offense: 1 Day ISS - The student's phone will be taken and my be picked up by a parent after 3pm.

If a student refuses to give the cell phone to the teacher or staff member, it will result in a minimum of 1 day ISS.  If an administrator must be called to retrieve the phone and the student refuses to give the phone to the administrator, it will result in a minimum of 3 days OSS.

Cell phones and other wireless communication devices may not be turned on, handled, or visible during the instructional day or other school functions without prior approval by the school administration.
