Crest FFA Members place Second in State Veterinary Science Event

Sanford, NC- Members of the Crest FFA Chapter placed second in the State FFA Veterinary Science Career Development Event on 19 November 2016 at the Central Carolina Community College in Sanford, North Carolina.  Team members include Breanna Bonino, Katelyn Ogren, Charlie Qualls and Sarah Thomas.  

The Veterinary Science CDE participants demonstrate their knowledge in the veterinary medical  field by completing practicums in clinical procedure, handling and restraint techniques and veterinary mathematics.  Members are also evaluated on their knowledge of technical information through a written examination and are tested on their ability to properly identify equipment and veterinary microscopic organisms.

The North Carolina FFA is a youth organization of over 19,735 student members preparing for leadership and career in the science, business and technology of agriculture with nearly 263 local chapters across the state.  FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agriculture education.  Visit foir more information.
