1:1 Rollout Event and Technology User Agreement

We are excited about the first phase of the 1:1 initiative! The Chromebook Rollout Event is scheduled for August 7th and 9th in the media center from 9am-3pm. This will be a drop-in event; please expect to be here for at least 30 minutes to complete the process. Chromebooks will be assigned to all 10th and 11th grade students upon receipt of the signed student & parent/guardian laptop agreement and the technology user fee ($25). Summer School

Parents and Students can check Power School to see if they are eligible for summer school to recover course credit.  Students who received an FF in any course are eligible as well as students who failed a core academic class with a 50% or higher. Summer School begins on Monday, June 19th at 8:30 am.  Students must be present the first day to enroll. Summer School runs each day, Monday - Friday from June 19 - June 30 from 8:30 am until 2:30 pm.  Lunch will be served each day.  If you have questions, please call Crest High School at 704-476-8331. Spirit Rock!

The CHS Spirit Rock will be available for rental August 1, 2017.  Please print and fill out the Spirit Rock Request Form. Printed forms are also available through the front office.  We look forward to seeing your creative spirit!

Basketball Camp

CHS will be hosting a basketball camp on June 14-16 from 8:30am-1:30pm.  Students grades 1-8 are welcomed to attend.  The registration deadline has been extended to June 14th for those that are interested.  Thanks to those that have already registered, see you June 14th. Go Chargers!!!

Friday, June 9—10:00 am Graduation Practice.  Graduating seniors can begin reporting to the gym at 9:30 on Friday morning.  MANDATORY for participation in Graduation Ceremony.   Senior picnic will follow graduation practice.  Each senior will be given 2 graduation tickets during practice. These will be used only in the event of rain.

Saturday, June 109:00 am Graduation in Crest High Stadium

Graduating seniors can enter the front lobby of Crest High between 7:15-8:00 AM.  Your parents may drop you off at CHS, and we encourage you guys to ride together.

Seniors driving themselves to graduation should park at Crest Middle School and will be bused to CHS.

Report to Crest Middle School NO LATER than 7:45 AM if driving yourself to graduation.

Parking gates open for parents to enter CHS stadium at 7:30 AM.

Items prohibited during graduation: noise makers, umbrellas, signs, balloons

**Rain Plan—graduation will be delayed if there is a thunderstorm or passing shower.  If there is constant rain, the ceremony will move to the gym.  Each senior will be given 2 guest tickets for the gymnasium.  Additional guests can view the ceremony in classrooms and the media center through live stream.


Dress Code for Graduation (Cap & Gown)

            Females: Knee length dress/skirt, sandals/heels that are no taller than 1 inch

            Males:  dress pants; dress shoes; white shirt with tie (can be short sleeve)

            Graduation caps may NOT be decorated

            Cleveland County Schools Dress Code applies

    Only Crest High School presented honor cords are allowed (NHS, CTEHS, & Beta Club)

Cap and Gown Group Portrait Info

A cap & gown group portrait for the CHS Class of '17 will be made at 9:30 on the morning of Tuesday, May 23. If you have prepaid for an 8x10 print when you ordered your cap & gown individual portraits, your print will be delivered to the school approximately 10 days after the photo is made. If you didn't prepay, MAY 23 ONLY these may be purchased as an 8x10 for $20. We will also be making a Junior Marshal individual and group photo available in 5x7s. The two Junior Marshal prints are $15 for both. Cash or check only. Make checks payable to TPS photography. Prints can be ordered from the photographer after the photo is made. The photo will be made outdoors weather permitting. 

Every senior should bring their graduation attire (cap, gown, etc.). Seniors that are early grad or off campus should plan to be here early to prepare and receive directions.

Yearbook Purchases

The last day to buy a yearbook before distribution is May 19th. Books can be purchased online through or bring cash or check to Ms. May. Make checks out to Crest High School.
Students who find their star and take a picture of it from the poster by the cafeteria and show it to Ms. May at the time of purchase will be entered to win a free yearbook or a gift card.
